MAHA 2026-27 Winter Season

MAHA Registration Refund Policy Registration fees allow MAHA to reserve ice, register teams, order jerseys, and make other season commitments. Therefore, refunds are not automatic. 1. Requests must be submitted in writing to the MAHA Registrar and Treasurer. The date the request is received will be considered the player’s withdrawal date. 2. Before placements begin for travel players—or before the first scheduled practice for in-house players—a refund may be issued, less processing fees and any nonrecoverable costs already incurred by MAHA. 3. After placements or practices begin, refunds will be considered only on a case-by-case basis for circumstances such as: - Season-ending injury or illness - Family relocation - An approved waiver to another association - Acceptance of a high school hockey roster position - Other significant or extraordinary circumstances 4. Any approved refund may be prorated based on the portion of the season completed and reduced by expenses already incurred, including jerseys, apparel, ice, league fees, tournament fees, placement costs, and other nonrecoverable charges. Documentation may be required. 5. Dissatisfaction with team placement, coaching, playing time, scheduling, or a voluntary decision to stop playing does not automatically qualify a family for a refund. All refunds require approval from the MAHA Board or its designated Executive Committee. Decisions are final. DIBS checks, fundraising obligations, and third-party fees will be handled separately under their applicable policies.
