Fundraising

As part of the Mankato Area Hockey Association's ongoing efforts to control the cost of registration fees and to allow families an opportunity to subsidize the cost of hockey, MAHA provides a variety of fundraising opportunities.

We will be selling again this year the Raffle Calendars (for Travelers) and Snell Car Wash Cards (for Mites/6&8U Girls). 

Thank you all for helping support our players and keeping registration costs down.

Calendar distribution will occur during traveling team 1st day of placements.   

Calendars will be distributed at the same time as DIBS check collection and hand out of placement jerseys. Players will not be given their placement jersey until those items have been addressed.  

The cost of each calendar is $20. The amount assigned is 20 raffle calendars for your first traveler or 25 raffle calendars for multiple travelers.

The bottom flap of the calendar has a numbered raffle stub that needs to be filled out completely for each calendar sold. The purchaser keeps the calendar that has a duplicate raffle number on it for their records.

ACCORDING TO THE GAMBLING CONTROL BOARD AND THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, ALL STUBS FOR THESE CALENDARS NEED TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR - SO IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT ALL STUBS ARE TURNED IN. 

2025 Calendars turn-in: Wednesday Nov 12th and Thursday Nov 13th at All Seasons Arena lobby from 5:30-8:00pm.

The drawing will be held at 6:00 pm on November 18, 2025 at Hooligan's. This drawing is open to the public and any members of MAHA that choose to attend. All winners for the full year of 2026 will be drawn that evening. Checks will be mailed to the winners each month throughout 2026. Winners will also be posted on this page the beginning of December.

Car Wash Turn-In:

MAHA is pleased to continue our partnership with Snell Car Wash for the 2025-2026 Season.  All Mite Families will be required to sell car washes based on the level they are playing. Car wash order forms and options will be published soon for this season.  

Mite 1, 2 and 6U players are required to sell 5 car wash cards 

Mite 3, 4 and 8U players are required to sell 15 car wash cards

If you have multiple mites you combine the totals of each of their level requirements, but max out at 20 cards.

Families with a Traveling Player & a Mite are required to sell 5 car wash cards per Mite.  

The Car Wash Cards come in a variety of different levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. We also have a single detail card! Please collect the money at the time of sale. 

The option to "Buy Out" the car wash cards instead of selling them is $15 per unsold card.

Turn-in date for your order forms and money is will be in the beginning of December with the final date announced when the car wash cards are handed out.

Delivery Date of the Cards to the Player: Projected to be handed out the week of Christmas. Final date will also be announced when the car wash cards are handed out.

Suggested verbiage for your skater:

 "I'm selling 5 packs of exterior car washes from Snell Auto Wash to raise money for the Mankato Area Hockey Association. MAHA is keeping 45% of the proceeds from the sale of these wash cards. Snell Auto Wash has been locally owned in the Mankato community for 15 years. Offering different exterior wash options at volume pricing, they have something for everyone. They can wash a car in only 3 minutes from start to finish!"
