MAHA continues to seek coaches at all levels that are interested in the growth and development of our players, both on and off the ice.

COACHES MUST COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW BEFORE THEY TAKE THE ICE FOR PRACTICE.

In order to coach, you must complete all steps listed below. Deadlines are listed for each and are not negotiable. We are governed by District 9, MN Hockey and USA Hockey, and they dictate when each of these needs to be completed. You MUST ensure that you have everything completed on time or you will not be allowed to coach. You will not be reimbursed for any fees if you do not do all steps.

1. MAHA Coach Registration
2. USA Hockey Member Registration
3. MAHA Registration
4. Complete USA Hockey Required Training

• SafeSport Training
• Screening and Background Check (every 2 years)
• Age Specific Modules
• Concussion Form signed (every year) & concussion training (every 2 years)
• Current CEP Certification

Complete MAHA Coaching Registration

USA Hockey registration is required for all players and coaches who take the ice. This is effectively your insurance that helps cover medical expenses in the event of a hockey related injury.

• (MAHA will reimburse USA Hockey fee as long as all registration requirements have been met).
