CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2019 CALENDAR WINNERS!!


As part of the Mankato Area Hockey Association's ongoing efforts to control the cost of registration fees and to allow families an opportunity to subsidize the cost of hockey, MAHA provides a variety of fundraising opportunities.

This year we will be selling Raffle Calendars and Wreaths.  

Each family will sell ONE OR the OTHER.  If you have a traveling player, your family sells only calendars.  If you have a traveling player and a non-traveling player, your family sells only calendars.  If you do not have a traveling player, your family sells only wreaths.  If your family only consists of Mite Level 1 or Mite Level 2 or if it is your FIRST year playing In-House Mites regardless of your player's Mite Level, you sell nothing.  


(2019-2020) Traveling Families (Bantams, Peewees, Squirts, 12U, 10U)

All families with a traveling player will be required to sell 20 calendars.  An additional 5 calendars are required if there are multiple players in the family above Mite Level 2.

Example #1 - A family with two players, a Peewee and a Squirt would need to sell 25 calendars total.
Example #2 - A family with one player, a Bantam, would need to sell 20 calendars total.
Example #3 - A family with three players, a Squirt and two Level 2's would need to sell 20 calendars total (and no wreaths).

Calendar distribution will occur during traveling team placements.  Specific dates/times will be coming soon.

Calendars will be distributed at the same time as placement jerseys.  Players will not be given their placement jersey until calendars have been accepted.  Those families with a Mite player in addition to their traveling player will pick up all calendars at this time. 

The cost of each calendar is $20.

The bottom flap of the calendar has a numbered raffle stub that needs to be filled out completely for each calendar sold. The purchaser keeps the calendar that indicates the prize-drawing amount for each day throughout the year and a duplicate raffle number for their records.

ACCORDING TO THE GAMBLING CONTROL BOARD AND THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE, ALL STUBS FOR THESE CALENDARS NEED TO BE ACCOUNTED FOR - SO IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT ALL STUBS ARE TURNED IN.
 

Calendars turn-in dates:

November 12th and 13th at All Seasons Arena from 5:30-8:30

The drawing will be held in November 2019 at Hooligan's.  This drawing is open to the public and any members of MAHA that choose to attend. All winners for the full year of 2020 will be drawn that evening. Checks will be mailed to the winners each month throughout 2020. Winners will also be posted on this page the beginning of December.

In all, $12,000 in prizes will be awarded to the purchasers of these calendars.


(2019-2020) In House Families

All families, Level 3-5, WITHOUT a traveling player will sell wreaths only.  The table below shows the number of wreaths that each family will be required to sell based on the level of their oldest player.

* An additional 5 wreaths are required if there are multiple players in the family above Mite Level 2.

Example #1 - A family with two players, a Level 4 and a Level 2 would sell 20 wreaths total.
Example #2 - A family with two players, a Level 3 and a Level 4 would sell 25 wreaths total.
Example #3 - A family with two players, both Level 3 would sell 25 wreaths total.
Example #4 - A family with one player, a Level 1 would sell no wreaths.
Example #5 - A family with one player, a Level 2 would sell no wreaths.
Example #6 - A family with a FIRST year player regardless of Mite level would sell no wreaths.
Example #7 - A family with a Mite and traveling player will ONLY sell calendars.
 

Order form/money turn in date for the 2019-20 season are FIRM on October 29th, 5:30-7:30pm and October 30th, 5:30-7:30pm at ASA front lobby.  Items will be available for pick up sometime mid November 2019.  Exact times and location to follow once details are confirmed.

*All Checks must be made out to “MAHA” or “Mankato Area Hockey.” Please have cash and checks separated when turning in.
