General Seasonal Tournament Information
Required Before Tournament:
- Registration Fee to secure your spot in the tournament
- Provide a roster of players and coaches - including coach certification numbers and levels - 2 weeks prior to tournament to be included in tournament program
Required At Tournament Check-In:
- $300 gate fee (this can be paid ahead of time)
- Certified rosters listing all players and coaches
- REMINDER - Players not listed on your certified roster cannot be allowed to play or sit on the bench
- REMINDER - Coaches that are not listed on your certified roster cannot be allowed on the bench for games.
- Proof of coaches' certification
- After December 31st any coach without documentation of the proper certification and training level and/or not listed on the roster cannot be allowed on the bench.
- Only 4 coaches are allowed to be on the bench at any given time.
- IMR's (if required)
- 14 scoresheet labels in vertical format
Cancellation Policy:
- If your team has paid the registration fee to confirm and hold your spot then your association will be responsible for the cost until we can find another team to fill that open spot.
- If a spot cannot be filled and your team has paid the gate fee of $300 that will be refunded to your association.
Other Information:
- T-shirts: Information on how to order will to be sent to team manager prior to tournaments.
- Certified medical personnel available at all tournaments. MAHA employs the Mankato Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic Athletic Training staff for tournaments.
- Mankato tournaments follow Minnesota age guidelines

Verify your coaches' certifications:
This link will take you to the USA Hockey website. The more information you can include the more refined your search will be. However, to cast a broader net, use limited information (example: Is coach registered as Tom or Thomas? enter last name but do not enter first name). Click SEARCH. The certification information will appear. After December 31st coaches must be certififed to be on the bench at our tournaments. If your coach is certified but the USA website doesn't reflect this, the coach may suppy other documentation proving certification has occured (completion certificates, etc.).
