NOTES: Every year, Minnesota Hockey’s Tournament Committee meets prior to the start of the new season to review the number of teams each District / Association(s) are declaring to play at what age groups (e.g., Squirt, Pee Wee, 12U, etc.) and levels (e.g., AA, A, B, etc.) for the upcoming season. Based upon this information, the Committee determines the appropriate number of Regionals based on the total team participation at every level of play. For the 2024-25 Season, the Bantam and Pee Wee AA levels will have three (3) Regionals based on the actual number of teams declaring to play AA vs. a lower level. It should be noted that every District fielding Bantam and Pee Wee AA teams will be represented with at least one (1) bid to Regionals and potentially more based on overall participation numbers within the District. In regards to the Girls 15U A Regional site locations being TBD. Once upcoming High School Girls tryouts are completed, Associations / Districts will be able to declare if they will be fielding 15U A teams for the 2024-25 season. Based upon these numbers, the tournament committee will then decide whether it is appropriate to host three (3) for four (4) Regionals and the corresponding site locations.
