Running from late-March through May, this program serves both girls and boys from all levels of experience on a first-come-first-serve basis. The Futures Development Program is composed of 13 hours of developmental practice ice, a mid-season 3v3 jamboree and a culminating 5v5 festival. Registration for the program is $400, and all program participants will be provided with a uniform and some player swag. There are no specific attendance requirements, and in fact, we encourage athletes to participate in other sports and activities even if that means missing a few Futures sessions.

Mankato Futures 13U - 2011 and 2012 birthyears will have a morning and afternoon practice at All Seasons Arena on the following dates:

4/6, 4/13, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11

Mankato Futures 15U - 2009 and 2010 birthyears will have a morning and afternoon practice at All Seasons Arena on the following dates:

4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/11, 5/18

Winona Futures 13U - 2011 and 2012 birthyears will have practice at St. Mary's University Arena on the following dates:

3/16, 3/23, 4/6, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11

Winona Futures 15U - 2009and 2010 birthyears will have practice at St. Mary's University Arena on the following dates:

4/6, 4/20, 4/27, 5/11, 5/18

Ice times at both sites will be finalized as we review registration numbers in February. 

Mankato Notes:

• All practices will take place in Mankato

• Practices may be on weekdays and/or weekends

• The Mankato program has capacity for the following teams:

o 13U Boys only

▪ Anticipated practice days: April 6th (3 hours), April 13th (2 hours), April 27th (2 hours), May 4th (2 hours), May 11th (2 hours)

o 13U Girls only

▪ Anticipated to be similar to 13U Boys schedule

o 15U Coed (Boys and Girls share the ice but compete/train primarily by gender)

▪ Anticipated practice days: April 13th (3 hours), April 20th (2 hours), April 27th (2 hours), May 11th (2 hours), May 18th (2 hours)

o Separation of programs at the 13U level will be dependent on final registration numbers

• 13U 3v3 teams will have their games scheduled on a single day during the 4/19-4/21 Jamboree weekend in Elk River, MN. Girls may compete on a different day than boys.

• 13U 5v5 teams will have their games scheduled on a single day during the culminating 5/17-5/19 Festival weekend in Elk River, MN. Girls may compete on different days than boys.

• 15U 3v3 teams will have their games scheduled on a single day during the 5/3-5/5 Jamboree weekend in Elk River, MN. Girls may compete on different days than boys.

• 15U 5v5 teams will have their games scheduled on a single day during the culminating 5/24-5/26 Festival weekend in Elk River, MN. Girls may compete on different days than boys.
