Mankato Area Hockey Association (MAHA) has initiated a capital campaign to raise approximately $200,000 for a new dryland training room within All Seasons Arena (ASA).  In conjunction with the major renovation of ASA currently being completed, a new dryland training room was reimagined that would create greater off-ice access for growth and development.  This has been part of the broader effort to improve indoor ice facilities in the greater Mankato area and enhance the opportunities for kids to grow and develop.  We believe this project will help with both long-term goals.

The past dryland facility had limited availability due to its outdated design, degradation, and physical hazards.  The new facility will provide greater training opportunities and enhanced access for kids to play and develop their love of the game.  Our hope is that the additional opportunities to use the facility will allow for more kids to find their passion for hockey and will help MAHA grow the game of hockey in the Greater Mankato Area. 

The Hockey Day Minnesota 2022 Grow the Game Fund of the Mankato Area Foundation will make a $50,000 donation and will match an additional $50,000 of donations made prior to January 1st, 2025.  With the announcement of this donation, we are actively engaging with possible donors in pursuit of raising the remaining dollars and maximizing the potential matching funds.   For additional dryland fundraising information, please contact Josh Sherburne at josh.sherburne@gmail.com or Eric Boelter at boelter3@yahoo.com .
