Hockey Operations Position Information

Hello Mankato Hockey Family,

With the 16-17 hockey season coming to a close I began to review goals, objectives, and improvement opportunities that lie ahead of Hockey Operations at Mankato Hockey.  The expectations I have for myself and Hockey Operations were becoming to look more like a distant dream rather than an achievable task which had an unsustainable trajectory for continued growth and improvement.  This reality guided myself along with the Mankato Hockey Executive Board to develop a plan for the Hockey Operations Director and Operations Committee in which responsibilities would be divided out among level specific Hockey Operations Leads to ensure continuity throughout the association and provide more in depth support for players, coaches, and parents.  Attached is an organizational chart for a visual representation of the vision.  I have a strong passion and a committed tie to this association and truly believe that this is a direction worth moving towards.  As with most organizations this isn't anything new or groundbreaking.  I have spent ample time communicating and researching other "light-house" associations which follow similar models that fall into a similar association make-up as Mankato Hockey.  The ultimate goal is to provide a fun, high quality, and competitive environment for all of the players in which a State High School Championship banner will be brought home.

I am extremely proud to call Mankato my home as well as being a part of such a great organization as Mankato Hockey. I couldn't be more excited for the future!

Positions are being posted to take applications for the "lead" positions beginning now and will close Wednesday May 31st.

Please submit letters of intent with a resume attached to me at the email below.

Thank You,

Marcus Peterson

Bingo Workers Needed

Hooligan's needs bingo workers (callers, sellers and paperwork) to work Saturdays from noon until about 3pm.  Workers must be at least 18 years of age.  Pays $10/hour.  There is no need to work every week.  Anyone interested can either stop by Hooligan's to fill out an employment form or contact Darla Guritz at darlaguritz@gmail.com

A portion of the Bingo proceeds benefits MAHA.  So it's a nice opportunity to earn some extra cash, have a little fun and help out our association.

***ATTENTION MAHA PARENTS***

If you rented any equipment from MAHA this season, all equipment must be turned in for assessment each year, whether your intention is to re-rent it or not. It is imperative that MAHA is provided the opportunity to look over the equipment to assure its safety yearly. If you wish to keep your current equipment from season to season, MAHA does ask that you bring it to the rental sessions, get it checked and inventoried, and you will be able to re-rent your equipment on the spot as long as you pay your new yearly fee.

Please contact the equipment manager to arrange a time to return/re-rent your equipment.
